Abstract: This study examines the impact of adult education on ethical decision-making. Adult education is pivotal in fostering ethical awareness and decision-making skills, essential for both personal and professional development. The objectives were to assess how adult education influences ethical decision-making, to evaluate the effectiveness of specific educational approaches in teaching ethics, and to identify the challenges faced by educators and learners in this context. A survey research design was chosen to collect data from participants in ethics-focused adult education programs, providing a detailed analysis of the impacts. A sample size of 280 adult learners was selected to ensure comprehensive insights. The purposive sampling technique was used to target individuals engaged in ethics-related education. The case study was conducted in Edo, Nigeria, where ethics education is a key component of adult learning programs. Findings revealed that adult education significantly enhanced ethical decision-making, with learners demonstrating improved ability to navigate ethical dilemmas. However, challenges such as cultural differences and resource limitations were noted. The study recommended incorporating more case studies and practical examples in ethics education and addressing cultural nuances in ethical discussions.
